Parker Christian Center
I played bass on the main worship team. When I attended the church they were still meeting in a school but my dad (Jim Barnard) actually played a large role in the conversion of this building from a post office to where they currently meet.

| Shortly after the project was finished my dad passed away in December, of 2001. I'm not sure what his actual title would have been
during the building project but he was always telling me stories about his crew. I have to mention that his crew was all Hispanic gentlemen that spoke very little English. My dad didn't speak Spanish so I asked him one day how he was able to tell them what needed to be done. He pretended to pick up a shovel and started digging a hole. He then pointed at me and handed me the shovel.

That story and these pictures will always be a reminder to me of what can be done when we live by example.
